About Ripple
Ripple is an audience engagement tool built and operated by BuddyX for business presentations, internal training, conferences and classrooms. The speaker opens an activity on the web or in their slides; the audience scans a QR code with their phones, and results appear live on the screen.
What it does
- Topic Board, FAQ, polls and quizzes: gather opinions, answer questions, check understanding.
- Reactions, audience comments and an understanding meter: see how the room feels throughout the talk.
- Works in any browser. Speakers who use PowerPoint can also install an add-in so phones follow the slides during the show.
Security and privacy
- Speakers sign in only with their Google account (OAuth). This site never asks for a password and requests nothing beyond basic profile data (name, email, picture).
- The audience doesn't sign in or install an app; the browser only keeps an anonymous ID.
- Data is stored on Cloudflare and always encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We don't sell data or show ads. See the Privacy Policy and Terms.
- The PowerPoint add-in is only offered to signed-in speakers. Installing it adds one add-in entry to the current user's settings and needs no admin rights.
