Terms of Service
Welcome to Ripple (present.buddyx.cc, “the Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please stop using it. If this English version differs from the Traditional Chinese version, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.
1. The Service
The Service provides live interaction features, including Topic Board, FAQ, polls, quizzes, Reactions Only, reactions, audience comments, the understanding meter, and a PowerPoint add-in. Speakers sign in with a Google account to create sessions; the audience joins by scanning a QR code, with no sign-up needed.
2. Accounts
- You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for all activity under it.
- Don't share your account with others or stay signed in on public computers.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law, or distribute illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful or pornographic content, or content that infringes others' rights;
- collect audience members' personal data without their consent;
- interfere with or attack the Service, or try to access it or other users' data without authorization;
- run large-scale automated actions, stuff votes, or otherwise abuse system resources.
4. Content and responsibility
- The session content you create belongs to you. You authorize us to store, process and display it in order to provide the Service.
- Speakers manage the audience interaction in their own sessions. The Service does not filter what the audience sends; speakers can clear comments from the screen at any time.
- We may remove content that violates these terms, or suspend accounts that do.
5. Fees
The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will announce them in advance and will never charge you without your consent.
6. Changes and interruptions
We do our best to keep the Service stable, but it is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may pause the Service for maintenance, upgrades or force majeure, or change or discontinue some features. For important events, we recommend testing in advance.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including data loss or interrupted events) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
8. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your sessions at any time. To delete your account, email us.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the effective date on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
